We have already talked a little bit about Aaron Johnson and his improvements at pro day athlete development and pro day scouting combine tests but let’s take a look at his one nineteen 2019 testing looks like he only did a a few agility skills on that day Aaron remember comes to us from Broken Arrow sports Broken Arrow men’s basketball and Tulsa Hawks basketball he ran a 6.03 second star drill on this day which ranks him 70 third among his peers and a 13.7 two agility Lane drill which could benefit from speed and agility training Tulsa he ranked 22nd among his Tulsa sport athlete peers. Because he didn’t attempt his vertical jump today we didn’t get the opportunity to improve vertical jump training Tulsa.

Ajani Jamison also competed on this day and just competed in the agility skills so we can take a look at that he ran a 6.9 three star drill again he’s probably looking over at his buddy Aaron an wanting to beat him in every one of these skills he ranked 131st as compared to Aaron who ranks 73rd among other male athletes in the Tulsa area he ran a 14.72 agility Lane drill again ranking in 45th that’s about double what his friend Aaron’s doing so more than anything we think it’s important that he joined us in the best speed and agility training Tulsa program that we offer here at pro day athlete development in Broken Arrow. Next time we will be able to improve vertical jump training Tulsa.

Detorian Ligons is a homeschool sports homeschool athlete we call him DT for short he participated in a pro day scouting combine on March 24th 2019 he ran a 2.03 second 10-yard accelerated Sprint improve speed training Tulsa he had a 57 one Max Rep giving the Rep of the bar only of eight reps ranks him 114th among his peers best strength and conditioning Tulsa DT jumped 18 inches off the ground in his standing vertical jump could benefit from PPA certified jump coach Corey Else. He had an approach vertical jump of 21 inches which is 3 inches higher from his standing vertical jump typically we like to see higher number of inches between those two numbers which tells us that he can benefit from improve vertical jump training Tulsa. His broad jump which is actually a test that we do for explosiveness outward is compared to upward he actually did very well with 77 inches and ranks 117th among his Tulsa sports athlete peers. He will benefit from all of this including the youth sports training Tulsa that we offer. DT ran a 5.78 second star drill which tests for agility actually ranks him 40 ninth among all male athletes which is incredible for his age I believe he’s just a 9th grader this year. DT ran a 16.3 second Lane drill resulting in a 67 rank among Tulsa area athletes.

Lucas speer Lucas is one of our younger athletes he comes to us from Metro Christian Academy sports Metro Christian Academy Tulsa and Metro Christian football he joined us at the pro day scouting combine on March 24th 2019 he had a 2.03 second 10-yard accelerated Sprint improve speed training Tulsa and ranks 96th among Tulsa athletes . Lucas did about average among his peers for the bench press which were looking for power best strength and conditioning Tulsa he had eight reps of just the bar 45 pounds resulting in 114th among Tulsa sports athletes I found I found this to be a little underwhelming he jumped 13 inches off the ground in his standing vertical jump but he did have a good difference between his standing and his approach in jumping 18 inches off the ground in his approach vertical jump that means that there’s a lot of improvement that we can make in the strength of his legs and the strength of his vertical jump due to training at best sports performance training Tulsa.

Preston Dixon I like to make fun of Preston a little bit because he is a know you fan and typically they do beat up on their younger brother little brother in Oklahoma State University but presents a good kid like his family a lot and he’s going to go far in life so Preston comes to us from Metro Christian Academy in Tulsa he also ran the pro day scouting combine on March 24th 2019 he had an impressive 2 second 10-yard accelerated sprints ranking him 84th amongst his peers he had a mediocre one Rep Max resulting in 49 pounds or ranking 129th among his peers he would benefit from best strength and conditioning Tulsa let’s see Preston also had a 15 inch standing vertical jump which is pretty decent but more importantly his 22-inch approach vertical jump was even more impressive landing him in 130th place among Tulsa sports athletes so what that tells me again is if we can improve his standing vertical jump we can improve his approach vertical jump very easily through PPA certified jump coach Corey Else And improve vertical jump training Tulsa. Preston had a broad jump again we’re looking at distance here not upward movement of 71 inches ranking him 140 third and among youth sports training Tulsa academies . Preston ran a 7 flat star drill on this particular day which ranks him 138th amongst Tulsa sports athletes he also ran a 15.6 two Lane drill resulting in ranking 57th among his peers which is actually very good for his age group I believe he is a freshman going to be a sophomore this year. You’ll definitely see improvement on the football field as he continues to train with pro day athlete development.

Austen Dixon Austin is preston’s little brother he likes to tag along and they have a good competitive rivalry among each other which is good for our program youth sports training Tulsa Austin ran a 2.3 seconds 10-yard accelerated Sprint breaking him 155th among his peers I do expect to see more improvement from Austin as he is a baseball player and wants to be able to run the diamond he tide his brother with the bench press resulting in a 49LB one Rep Max three times Rep with the bar best strength and conditioning Tulsa he had a 13 inch standing vertical jump which ranks three 111th among his peers Which would see improvement through improve vertical jump training Tulsa and 15 in his approach vertical jump ranking 220 second So what I found is that Austin had a slightly disfigured vertical jump and I think there’s a huge opportunity for PPA certified jump coach Corey Else to help him with his cadence his approach and technique in improving that. Austin then ran a 7.50 star drill ranking him 167th among his Tulsa sports athlete peers. I don’t show that he did a drill on this day I think maybe he had just suffered an injury or was getting tired so he will be coming back to do the Lane drill at a different time.

Each one of these guys would benefit from attending one of our sessions for improve vertical jump training Tulsa. As you might know it is coached by PPA certified jump coach Corey Else is hosted every month for Tulsa sports athletes.
